Both times we stayed in Hinterzarten, we went "trekking" along the trails in the countryside.
In 1984, my sister-in-law, Joyce, and I trekked across country to the Titisee, a pretty lake just over the hill.
In 1991, we took the kids along some of the same trails... it was colder weather.
